Generating knowledge about endangered species helps to assess the problems faced by species and once these problems are identified we can put management measures in place. Not only do we carry out scientific research but also raise awareness of local communities. This is why the project has an educational program with children from Central American communities as well as fishermen and tour operators offering cetacean observation trips.
